Port de Calais. Europe's leading port for cross-Channel maritime passenger and freight traffic. Calais, France

By creating a 90-hectare navigable basin, the port, capable of accommodating "new generation" 240-meter long ships, is protected by a 3.2 km long breakwater.

Egis data & solutions is assisting the Société d'Exploitation des Ports du Détroit and all the project stakeholders in the deployment of document exchanges.

The project involves strong communication and coordination issues with the problems of traceability, reliability and security of data. The implementation of a methodology favored the coordination between all the actors allowing to define the production processes for each phase, by specifying who does what, how and when.

Caudry South road bypass.

An operation declared to be in the public interest for the development of the territory and for the Caudrésis-Catésis Agglomeration Community. Caudry, France

The project aims to improve travel conditions in the medium and long term, by relieving the center of Caudry of transit traffic; the safety of users and local residents; the living environment of the inhabitants (with a reduction in noise pollution); the conditions of economic exchanges between the northern and southern employment areas.

The project provides for the construction of a new road to the west of the town of Caudry over approximately 3.3 km, including the creation of a 7-metre-long 2x1-lane roadway, a 3-metre-wide two-way bicycle lane, the creation of 3 roundabouts and a bridge (bridge allowing the crossing of the Caudry stream and the bridle path).
